This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for purchases made on Timerlink ("the Service").

1. Merchant of Record

Payments for Timerlink are processed by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record. Paddle is responsible for payment processing, billing, and refunds on our behalf.

All refund requests are subject to this policy and Paddle's applicable payment processing rules.

2. Subscription Refund Eligibility

Timerlink is offered as a subscription service.

Refund Window

Refund requests for initial subscription purchases must be submitted within 30 days of the original purchase date.

Usage Limitation

Refunds are only available if the Service has not been meaningfully used under the paid plan. Refunds will not be issued if paid features have been substantially utilized, including but not limited to:

  • Creating or actively running paid-tier timers
  • Sharing paid timers beyond minimal evaluation use
  • Repeated access by multiple viewers through paid sharing features

Timerlink provides a free tier with one active timer, allowing users to evaluate the core functionality before upgrading.

3. Renewals and Cancellations

  • Subscription fees are charged in advance on a recurring basis.
  • Renewal charges are non-refundable.
  • Users must cancel their subscription before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next billing cycle.
  • Canceling a subscription prevents future charges but does not retroactively refund previous payments.

4. Case-by-Case Exceptions

In limited situations, refunds may be granted at our discretion, including but not limited to:

  • Service-impacting bugs or outages that prevent normal use
  • Duplicate or accidental charges
  • Billing errors attributable to system malfunction

Any exception is evaluated individually and does not establish an obligation for future refunds.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Requests made outside the stated refund window
  • Substantial or repeated use of paid features
  • Failure to cancel a subscription before renewal
  • Violations of the Terms of Service

6. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy affects any statutory rights that may apply under local consumer protection laws. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights that cannot be waived.
